1945 year of victory :
Any of the admissible categories set in 1945.
Chicken Com. :
The Chicken Com. is a friendly contest that was usually reserved to the members of the SMHQ but this year we decided to open it to everyone.
The winner of the Chicken Com. will receive a gift certificate for a meal at a well known chicken place, thus the name Chicken Com.
The categories for this year are :
Planes : Spitfire 1/48
Tanks : Sherman
Figurines :Canadian tank crewman 1/35
For each categories except Junior and the Chicken Com., one Gold medal, one Silver medal, one Bronze medal and 3 mentions awarded for best
scores. NO SWEEP RULE Contest. I.E. a participant cannot gain more than once in the same category.
The price for the Junior categorie will be a modelers toolbox (Tools, paint brushes, X-acto, etc...)
The ships category includes all items in the water ...ie: submarines
Vignette: One vehicule and/or less than 4 figures.
Diorama: More than one vehicule and/or more than 4 figures.
What is NOT admissable: No contemporary civil cars and trucks,science fiction,and contemporary civil aircrafts. All radio controlled vehicles, and electric trains. All other projects not mentioned and which coinside with the spirit of our show will be allowed....The organisation commitee has the FINAL word on admissability.
Show rules
To insure a smooth running show, each participant must respect and agree to the following...
1- Respect the inscription period (8:00 till 12:00)
2- Must have paid the inscription fee.
3- Each participant is responsible for the installation of his/her models.
4- The organisation commitee reserves himself the right to change the class of a piece if he thinks it has been placed in the wrong category.
5- The Quebec Historical Modelling Society Show cannot be held responsible for all theft or damages.
6- All models must remain on the tables till after the awards have been given out.
